In celebration of the Downing Children’s Garden 10 Year Anniversary, Botanica is opening the gardens to the public with free admission from 10:00 A.M. -2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 10th!
In addition to enjoying the fabulous gardens including the children’s garden, there will be a planting in the Monster Wood Pavilion, a petting zoo, and tattoos. Food trucks and treats will be for purchase. Carousel rides are $3 per ride. The Big Bug Exhibit will also be in the gardens with 12 animatronic larger than life bugs throughout the entire gardens. The Alexander Bee House and the Cox Butterfly House will be open as well. The Bug Bungalow with real bugs and the Big Bug Buffet where you can try your hand at eating bugs will also be open for all to enjoy!
